De Villo Sloan on IUOMA
M-L has just re-issued ACCESS: A Journal of Post-Literature that features a long visual poem, "deep square wave structure," by Karl Kempton (who needs no introduction to vispo fans). Also included is an essay by Harry Polkinhorn. Karl's concrete poetry in ACCESS is amazing & with a good deal of historical value. He calls some of them typoglifs & they show how asemic glyphs can be composed.
