KAIRAN

KAIRAN produced by Gianni Simone in Japan was conceived as a follow up to NUMERO (Wilfried Nold, Germany).
From a zine debating mail art it evolved to thematic issues, sometimes inviting guest editors like Vittore Baroni (#17 Chain Reaction), or Bernd Reichert and myself. Topics: femail art, mail art in former Yugoslavia, mail art in Asia and Africa, the mail art interviews 15 years later (MAI was an initiative by Ruud Janssen).

Gianni is a born zine maker, Kairan is only of the magazines he produces.
